Back In The World Again
Posted on March 29th, 2009 2 commentsIt’s been a long time since I posted as some of you will know I was grabbed by bugs, sneezes and diseases for nearly six weeks at the beginning of the year and like so many I am only now feeling able, energetic and creative but over the last week, several things have happened that I feel that I can share.
On Thursday last week we were at our trading unit and the police arrived to evacuate us!! The reason being that a bomb left unexploded from the war had been discovered about 50 yards away from us (Newark was heavily bombed during the war with significant loss of life because engineering factories which were vital for the production of aircrafts). Anyway the bomb was taken away by the bomb squad but talking to one of my mother-in-law’s friend at her care home. Memories were spoken of the bombs falling.
And then the next exciting thing is I held a Meerkat over the weekend it had been hand reared and was part of educational event I attended. Normally I wouldn’t condone!!! The circumstances were unusual as it had been hand reared and therefore could never be returned to the wild. It was a marvellous interaction, something defiantly to be remembered.
Also Hello to Maureen who couldn’t believe I was in HER Adsa and yet again told me off for not posting!!

Hello stranger! Nice to hear from you again, and I’m glad you have recovered from a yukky sounding lurgy.
Cute meerkat.
I’ve been making a bunch of Wild Women this week. I have some birthday requests to be accomodated! And the Divas are calling me too.
