She was a wonderfully talented lady who had such a vigour for life and craft that you felt you knew and liked her instantly. She was always so pleased to explain; there was never a problem too small for her, if she could help or explain she would do so most willingly. The world is a sadder place for losing Sarah. I hope her family can take a little solace in knowing that her life, though cut very short, was filled with people who admired and respected her. Blessing to her family and loved ones. I met Sarah at numerous shows and also at a local venue, she always remembered me and was so kind and encouraging to my teenage daughter. Always kind and smiling even on the last day of a show when she must have been exhausted, she never minded how many questions were asked or how many techniques she was asked to show. It was always a pleasure to meet with her and she will be sadly missed by so many, but the inspiration she gave to many will live on. I pray that God's love will surround her family and friends and give them the strength they need each day. My book arrived today and it is just lovely. Every page provides inspiration. There are many techniques and ideas that I have never come across before. To describe Sarah as talented would be a great understatement. This book is a wonderful legacy left for all crafters. So my first thought was to contact her and then I read the notice in the book. I met her once at a show, and once she sent me a DVD to review, which I still treasure.
