Over the last few months, I have had several mails from crafty friends and those who cannot attend the big stamp group that I hold here in Newark every month.
So I am doing the tutorial from one of the sessions. There is a link to a truly good deal on the items and stamps used in the class.( a whopping £7 + saving!)
Once they have been snapped up there will be no more!! so this is a limited edition offer.

All the goodies in the Big Stamp kit ..see the link to purchase it
So to begin!!
This is what we did …..Using a Hampton art stamp, paper, dress punch and dotties.
We also used brilliance inks , glitter puff and a few rainbow drops. Some of the group also bring some of their own bits and bobs.

printed with the wonderland tre stamp with brilliance ink . The back has a direct top paper technique...just smoosh the ink pad over the surface )
.

Punch out at least 8 dress/petals and as you can see you need to round off the topdress to form the tabs that will allow you to glue the petal down

using a wetted paint brush pick up some colour from the brilliance pad and paint along the edges

bend the tab over and curl the petal either as an inny or an outy petal... I have rolled these as an outy so they curl away from the centre. Then with a small amount of clear drying glue.Glue the tabs down to overlap each other

The centers were finished with a big dot of Dotties and the addition of a rainbow drop into the center.A little glitter puff was puffed onto the centerFlower made the same way but with deeper tones. The Brilliance ink print had an edging of a blue memento ink to give a deeper tone .

Detail showing the blue stickles added to give a little sparkle to the petal edges. The center is a small round circle of black card with blue stickles and a rainbow drop.A multilayer petal flower on a decorated canvas.
The following images are from the canvas that was made for the workshop.
The outer wooden frame was coloured directly with a brilliance pad and a piece of the pre-printed paper was cut and inserted into the frame .The canvas part of the frame was then directly coloured with the ink pad and the randomly printed withe the stamp in a dissimilar colour. The crafters shape was then covered with apaitite jewelemamels …and the stamp pressed into the moulton surface .I used just 2 layers of the thermo crystals , so no need for triple embossing!.The flower is a doublelayerd flower and each petal was snipped to give a more raggedy effect. The colour enhancement was done with a copic marker. I love copic markers , we have them for sale but with the web site being changed over I am not sure if they are there at the moment.I know that the marking has been firece for the pro-markers but the copics were always seen by draughtsmen/designers as the better tool.

A double layered flower with a little more work with the coloring added to a small frame .The decorative panel has been embossed using the colourful thought s emamels ( apatite) and the wonerland trees stamp.Assembled and adorned with dotties and a little mauve stickles.Detail of the flower showing the raggedy edge floer form.the edged of the frame have been enhanced with dotties and mauve sparkles .the centre of the flower is a circle of black card and a drailnbow drop in a small 'blob'of mauve stickles

At the Big stamp group we don’t generally make cards , we just explore the possibilies of stamps and do something a little different. Th elements that we made in this workshop can be used for card making scrap booking , or for journels and of course for adorning our walls ( our american friends call this home decor!)

And finally my rather choatic workspace … Iam working on some stitch samples for my next book. My mmachines had to go for a little rest and recouperation at the repair shop. They have come back fully rested and raring to zoom away.!
