I have missed blogging… so Hello again and a big thanks to all of you who posted while we were at the Sewing for Pleasure show. It was lovely to meet old friends and new and although It was busy and my feet ached at the end of each day it was very enjoyable.
I still haven’t sorted my camera out as time has elluded me… where has the year gone!! I missed taking the monthly picture of Dave the Posty but I will capture him this week!! you never know he may have regulation shorts on!
Anyway to more important matters… the picture of the work desk has the samples and prep for the big stamp monthly meeting… We did a little canvas and played with the new karantha flowers stamp…

As some of you will know I also mentor a group of pals who are textilers…the Group was called the Group but the decision was taken after alot of chat and coffee and tea to change the name …… can’t divulge what the decion was but if you want to see the work that has bbeen done over the last year it will be on exhibition at the Quilt and Embriodery show next week at Uttoxeter race course. www.mqexhibitions.co.uk

We are also standing with lots of new crafty goodies from craftynotions and I will of course be demoing all through the show and I will also do a password each day for the first 5 people for a small but useful gift. So read the blog the day before and skip along to the stand… you don’t have to skip!!!
Also those of you who are going to the BIg Stamp show ..do have a mooch around the Stamp Connection stand …Jenny will be doing wonderful things with the moulds..
I will be doing an afternoon talk on Saturday at the Wolverhampton Embrioderers guild, so if you are a member and you are reading the blog (and you are the first)… if you say “I am a very wild women…” to me… you may be rewarded!!

I have been working on samples and more substantial pieces for the show in Birmingham .
Like many I have been watching as the dreadful events in Japan unfold.
I know that a feltmaking friend is OK.

The weather has been particularly miserable today , so I have been emailing friends in warmer parts of the world to get some warmth both in terms of our friendships but also to steal some of the sun.
As some of you will know Peggy is in New Zealand with her new grandson .. she rang to tell us she was OK after the shock that shook Wellington.(makes me think that i shouldn’t moan about the weather)
Also , our man of the month Dave…he is becoming rather a star!
