    The Crunch

We had a really busy time at the Knitting and Stitching Show. Met loads of people, Hello to Viv, Gabi, Ermintrude… To name just a few. And good to catch up with Dale and Ian and his cold germs!

The talk I gave to the Danish Felters went well and it will be lovely to see them all again in July in Denmark. (Details later) Next year will be a very busy exhibiting year as I will have the pieces for Denmark and work for the exhibition here in Newark with The Group. I will post al the details soon.

The work on the new space is gaining pace and we are painting the floor in the warehouse bit . I have tables and chairs waiting for delivery. more importantly I have been to Ikea for storage and no I didn’t come back with everything but showed great restraint!

Over the last few months I have been writing furiously to get a couple of books ready for launch and the Quilt Show at Alexandra Palace. Over the years I have been asked time and time again for information on how to use some of our more unique products, Puff Paint mostly so this is what I have been doing. They are just booklets but are full of information, ideas and techniques with lots of photographs and hopefully fellow textilers will find them useful. They are about to go to print but I have uploaded the front cover of the first. There is a series and I have decided to call them It’s Just… so the ones I have written so far are Its Just… Puff Paint and Its Just… Rusty Stuff and of courseĀ I have got many more in the pipe line. As they are only just about to go to print I will send out a newsletter when they are ready and post here as well.

Full details will be available shortly. However if you want to see me in action have a look at the link below..
