I was rather late getting to the office today and my camera was out of battery. I am definitely out of touch with technology!

These are the work desk images and the silk sari textile piece as far as I have managed to get with it.

Tomorrow is our last day here at Craftynotions we are having our Christmas lunch tomorrow and although I will be in doing things we are not resuming normal service until the 4th Jan. Although with all the disruptions with the snow and transport I have almost forgotten what is normal.

Whatever you are all doing have a song in your heart and remember that you can get back to artful crafting when all the turkey and gammon hams have been eaten!

workspace with my ruffler foot on the machine .. can be a fiddle to use but is a brilliant foot for making pleated stripes,attaching insertion strip with a reprogrammable stitch, having cut the original piece up into sections

stitching the cut pieces together on the machine

cut and rearranged with a sari rose attachments . Stitched together with a reprogrammable loopstitch

…and just to end on a lovely note… My friend Christine is now a granny! As of about 5am! Mum and baby are well and having a rest! Nicole Blanche is a healthy baby over 7lbs… It is so much better than kilograms!!

The new year looms and my thoughts are turning to all the things I have planned for next year. Haven’t made any new years resolutions yet! But one of them maybe to blog a bit more often!

Went to see Avatar with family and it was utterly gob-smacking! Absolutely brilliant and we are hoping to go see it again fairly soon as there was so many fantastic visuals you couldn’t possibly take it all in one go.
